Q ~ What's your biggest strength as a company?
A ~ Great customer service and skin care recommendations that are thorough and produce results.
Q ~ What's one thing that sets you apart as a company?
A ~ Not offering too many brands....it allows us to truly know our products inside-out, keep fresh stock of everything, and keep choice overwhelm in check. We purposely don't carry too many brands and never will.
Q ~ What is one of the biggest changes you've seen in the natural beauty industry in all your years?
A ~ For sure it's seeing clean beauty come into the mainstream... when we started we were a very niche market and few people understood what we were doing. Now there are tons of green beauty stores (which we think is great!) and it's finally become the norm; this is what we always wanted so we're thrilled to be a part of it.
Q ~ Something no one would know about you as a company?
A ~ We have a foster dog who is part of the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind in our office daily (not in the warehouses of course); she sleeps in a bed most of the day beside our desks.
Q ~ What clean beauty trends do you see in the future?
A ~ Now that natural beauty is mainstream, we see much more emphasis on evolving our definition of what beauty is. While we've seen this trend for a while with body appearance, but now we're starting to see it more with beauty and age - we want to help guide public perception into seeing that women can be beautiful at all ages and not to equate wrinkles and aging with negative a connotation; natural aging that occurs can co-exist with beauty and elegance at all ages.
